BEYOND BOUNTY
Sustainability has always been about economic, social, and environmental. To be truly sustainable, we have to build an agricultural ecosystem where the community benefits from the progress and a system that will last for this generation and the next.
WASTEWATER
MANAGEMENT
Our wastewater treatment protects the community and ecosystem around our facilities. Wastewater contains elements toxic to humans and our treatment facilities help to purify the water before releasing back to streams.
ANIMAL WASTE
MANAGEMENT
Animal waste management is imperative to us at Bounty as it saves the environment from the toxic effects of inorganic element present in the waste. Mismanagement may cause water and air contamination and soil erosion. Waste can also be recycled if collected and managed efficiently.
TREE PLANTING
INITIATIVES
The roots of trees hold the soil in place as it fights erosion that causes landslide. It also absorbs and store rainwater that helps reduce runoff and sediment deposit after the storms. It also helps recharge ground water supply, prevents transport of chemicals into streams as well as prevents flooding.
RENEWABLE
ENERGY
We need to diversify our energy sources and renewable energy provides reliable power supplies and fuel diversification, which enhance energy security, lower risk of fuel spills, and reduce the need for imported fuels. Renewable energy also helps conserve the nation’s natural resources.
BOUNTY CARES
CSR
Social sustainability is about identifying and managing business impacts, both positive and negative, on people. Directly or indirectly, we affect what happens to people, customers and local communities, and it is important to manage our impacts proactively.
