In the fast-paced world of poultry production, staying ahead of the curve is not just an advantage—it’s a necessity. At Bounty, our commitment to excellence is driven by continuous learning and the courage to innovate. This is a principle that Frederick Orpiano, our Associate Vice President of Breeder Operations, embodies fully. His dedication has brought new life to our breeder farm operations, where modern solutions meet long-standing expertise.
We sat down with Frederick to discuss his recent training in the global poultry landscape at the Production Management School—Breeder Module in Edinburgh, Scotland. Attended by industry leaders from across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia (EMEAA), the program was a deep dive into the latest broiler breeder health and management practices.
The Journey to Scotland: A Global Perspective
For Frederick, the week-long program was a valuable opportunity to benchmark Bounty’s practices against the world’s best. “Breeder management really evolves over time,” he shared.
“It was fascinating to see that many of the pressing issues we face—from diseases and labor concerns to raw material sources and government regulations—are similar across the globe. What differs is how each country approaches them.”
He noted that while challenges like diseases, labor shortages, and government regulations are common across countries, the difference lies in how organizations address them. Learning how others navigate these concerns provided actionable insights that can directly enhance our breeder farm operations at Bounty.
Applying Knowledge and Driving Change

With 24 years of experience at Bounty, starting as a Technical Assistant and rising through the ranks to Associate Vice President, Frederick knows the company’s operations inside and out. He is now focused on applying his new knowledge to elevate our breeder department.
“As captain of the ship, I saw the value in leveraging our underutilized farm data to drive out outdated practices and replace them with solutions fit for modern breeders.” he stated. This data-driven approach aligns perfectly with Bounty’s core value of having the courage to change and innovate.
Frederick says the training helped him use data to guide breeder farm operations, track KPIs, and lead more objectively. He views this as evidence that Bounty invests in employee development. In his words, “Bounty gives employees like me the tools to keep growing. There is no career stagnation here.”
A Message of Gratitude and Growth

Frederick is a powerful example of what can be achieved with dedication and a passion for learning. He believes that innovation within breeder farm operations is only possible when leaders are willing to grow themselves.
His message to his colleagues is both simple and profound: “Always do more than what is told you to do. Give back more than what is given!”
This experience has not only strengthened Frederick’s skills but has also reinforced his belief in Bounty’s mission and its investment in its people. As we move from Frederick’s journey, we reflect on the broader impact leaders like him have on our team, driving innovation and paving the way for a resilient and successful future.
A Legacy of Learning
Frederick’s journey is just one example of Bounty’s deep commitment to its people. In the same spirit, our other leaders are also investing in their growth to strengthen our company and our industry as a whole.
