The holiday season is a time for compassion and generosity. For the children at the Reception and Study Center for Children and Bahay Tuluyan ng mga Bata sa Dasmariñas, the spirit of giving arrived early last November 2023 through Bounty Cares Foundation’s BounTREE of Hope initiative. These two Department of Social Welfare and Development centers provide shelter and support for youth who have faced exploitation, neglect, abandonment or violence. Bounty Cares Foundation, the charitable arm of Bounty, launched their second BounTREE of Hope campaign to spread hope and cheer to these vulnerable children during Christmas.
BounTREE of Hope: Spreading Joy This Holiday Season
Bounty Foundation launched “BounTREE of Hope”, an inspiring holiday initiative bringing joy to underprivileged children. With the tagline “we go beyond”, the foundation aims to spread hope in communities.
As part of the Christmas season last year, Bounty employees donated new and pre-loved shoes to children at the Reception and Study Center for Children and Bahay Tuluyan ng mga Bata sa Dasmariñas. These centers care for neglected, abused, orphaned and displaced children. Bounty also donated ₱100, 000 worth of chicken products to each center in order to give a much-needed nourishment and protein. Bounty Cares Foundation Executive Director Ms. Arlene Cheng and Program Head Mr. Evan Chen led the turnover and outreach events.
Last November 22 and 24, the children enjoyed magic shows, face painting, Christmas carols, games and snacks. The BounTREE of Hope campaign brought delight to these vulnerable children during the holidays.
Through compassionate giving and going “beyond” duty, Bounty and its employees brought cheer to children in need. Small acts of kindness like donating essential items provide relief for those less fortunate. Outreach programs give personal connections, bringing communities together to spread joy.
